1. Quotations

1.1 All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

1.2 Quotations are based on information available at the time and may be subject to amendment if specifications, site conditions or customer requirements change.

1.3 Any changes requested after acceptance of a quotation may result in additional charges.

2. Orders & Acceptance

2.1 Orders are deemed accepted once the customer confirms acceptance of the quotation in writing.

2.2 By accepting a quotation, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

2.3 All bespoke and made-to-measure products are manufactured specifically for the customer and cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

3. Deposits & Payments

3.1 A deposit may be required before materials are ordered or manufacturing begins.

3.2 The remaining balance is payable immediately upon completion of works unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.3 Ownership of all goods remains with Vale Trade Windows & Doors until full payment has been received.

3.4 The Company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with applicable legislation.

4. Surveys & Measurements

4.1 Final manufacturing sizes will be based on measurements taken during the Company's survey process.

4.1.1 Customers are responsible for ensuring access is available for surveying and installation.

5. Lead Times

5.1 Estimated lead times are provided in good faith but may vary due to manufacturing schedules, supplier delays, weather conditions or circumstances beyond the Company's control.

5.2 Vale Trade Windows & Doors shall not be liable for delays caused by third parties or force majeure events.

6. Installation

6.1 Installation dates are subject to confirmation.

6.2 Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the property.

6.3 The Company reserves the right to postpone installation if health and safety concerns arise.

6.4 Minor making-good work may be required following installation and forms part of normal industry practice.

7. Cancellations

7.1 Cancellation rights are subject to current UK Consumer Contracts Regulations where applicable.

7.2 Bespoke and made-to-measure products cannot usually be cancelled once production has commenced.

7.3 Any costs incurred prior to cancellation may be deducted from any refund due.

8. Guarantees & Warranties

8.1 Manufacturer warranties apply to products supplied where applicable.

8.2 Installation workmanship is covered by the Company's workmanship guarantee.

8.3 Guarantees do not cover misuse, accidental damage, lack of maintenance, structural movement, acts of nature or alterations carried out by third parties.

9. Liability

9.1 The Company's liability shall be limited to the value of the contract.

9.2 Nothing within these Terms & Conditions excludes liability for death, personal injury, fraud or any liability which cannot be excluded under English law.

10. Complaints

10.1 Any complaints should be submitted in writing as soon as possible.

10.2 Vale Trade Windows & Doors will investigate all complaints and seek a fair resolution.

11. Privacy

11.1 Customer information will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation.

11.2 Customer information will not be sold to third parties.

12. Governing Law

12.1 These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales.
